Optical Disk Repair
Do you have a CD, DVD, or game disk that doesn't work anymore? Most scratched disks can be repaired easily!
All optical disks (CD, DVD, Blu-ray, and game disks) are made essentially the same way - there is a polycarbonate layer, the data layer, a reflective layer, and a print layer. Most disk-reading errors come from scratches on the polycarbonate layer.
We can repair most disks that have damage to the polycarbonate layer. (If you can see through the damage (i.e. if there is damage to the reflective or print layers), then the disk may not be salvageable.) We have a 99% success rate in repairing damaged disks!
The process is simple:
- Click here to fill out an order form (Adobe Reader is required to view the form).
- Send us your optical disks. You can send in payment as well if you wish.
- We will repair your disks and send you an invoice if you did not prepay for the repair.
- We will send your disks back to you within 1-2 business days of receipt of payment or repair completion.
